Ravega Ventures and our associates/partners/successors/permitted assignees ("Ravega Ventures", "we", "us", and "our") are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting it through compliance with this privacy policy ("Policy"). This Policy describes the types of information we collect when you access or use our website www.thegridmadurai.in (the "Platform"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

The Platform allows users to book pickleball court slots and provides read-only informational content (e.g., prices, galleries, menus) for our other services: Paintball, Banquet Lawn, and Cafe Courtside. No bookings are available for these additional services via the Platform.

By using or accessing the Platform and providing Information or SPDI (as defined below), you agree to the terms of this Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Platform or provide any information.

I. Definitions

  • Account: A login created via your mobile number for accessing booking features on the Platform.
  • Non-personal Identification Information: Non-personal information we collect, such as browser name, computer type, technical connection details (e.g., operating system, ISP), and similar data.
  • Personal Identification Information: Information that identifies or allows contact with a person, collected during visits, registration, transactions, or form submissions. This includes your mobile number and name. Together with Non-personal Identification Information, this is referred to as "Information". We collect Personal Identification Information only if you voluntarily submit it. You may refuse to provide it, but this may limit your ability to book courts.
  • Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI): Includes passwords (if any), financial information (e.g., bank/credit/debit card details), and any other data received under a lawful contract. We do not collect health, biometric, or other sensitive non-financial data.
  • Third-Party: Any person or entity other than you or us.

II. Collection of Personal Information by Ravega Ventures

a) In relation to the use of the Platform:

  • For Account creation and bookings: Mobile number (for OTP login), name, and contact details.
  • Information from booking queries, feedback, or correspondence.
  • No location data (e.g., GPS) is collected unless you explicitly enable it for booking purposes.
  • For read-only sections (Paintball, Banquet Lawn, Cafe Courtside), no personal data is collected—only aggregate analytics if enabled.

b) From third-party sites:

We do not currently support social logins (e.g., Facebook, Google). If added in the future, we will update this Policy.

c) Cookies:

  • We use small data files called cookies to record visits, provide seamless functionality, and improve user experience.
  • Cookies are set by us or trusted third-parties (e.g., analytics tools) and are anonymous—not linked to your submitted Information.
  • They help with: session management for OTP logins, basic security, and site performance.
  • You can adjust browser settings to refuse cookies, but this may impair booking functionality.
  • This Policy does not cover third-party advertiser cookies.

d) Collection of SPDI:

  • SPDI is collected only for payments during pickleball bookings, such as credit/debit card details.
  • We do not access, store, or process SPDI directly; it is handled securely by PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways.
  • SPDI is protected per reasonable security practices, and we do not transfer or disclose it to third-parties without your consent.

III. Use of Personal Information by Ravega Ventures

a) For providing Services:

  • To process bookings, send confirmations, handle cancellations, and provide support.
  • To diagnose technical issues, perform billing, and fulfill contractual obligations.
  • For read-only content, to analyze aggregate usage (e.g., popular menu items) without identifying individuals.

b) Communication:

  • We may send transactional emails/SMS (e.g., booking confirmations) to your registered mobile number or email.
  • Occasional promotional updates about our services (e.g., new pickleball slots or Cafe Courtside specials), but only with your consent where required.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential communications by replying to messages or contacting us.
  • We do not sell your Information and share it only in aggregated, anonymized form for internal analytics.

IV. Sharing of Personal Information by Ravega Ventures

a) General information disclosure:

  • We do not sell, trade, or rent your Information.
  • Aggregated demographic data may be shared with affiliates or partners for business purposes (e.g., improving services).

b) Legal proceedings and law enforcement:

  • We may disclose Information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes without notice.
  • To comply with law enforcement, government requests, or investigations (e.g., sharing name, mobile number, booking history if required by law).

c) Third-Party service providers:

Information is shared with trusted contractors (e.g., payment gateways, SMS providers) solely to deliver services like bookings and notifications.

d) With consent:

We share Information or SPDI only with your explicit consent.

V. Security

We implement reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect Information and SPDI from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes SSL encryption for payments, secure OTP transmission, and access controls.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for breaches due to factors beyond our reasonable control, including third-party actions. We are not liable for linked third-party sites' privacy practices.

VI. Updating, Deleting, and Amending Your Information

We take reasonable steps to ensure Information is accurate and up-to-date. You may:

  • Review, update, or amend your Information (e.g., mobile number) by logging in or contacting us.
  • Request deletion of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data.

Requests are subject to legal obligations (e.g., retention for tax/audit purposes) and may be limited if they affect others' rights, ongoing disputes, or statutory requirements. Data for inactive accounts may be deleted after 24 months.

VII. Links to Third-Party Apps and Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., payment gateways). These are not controlled by us, and their privacy practices differ. Review their policies before providing information.

VIII. Amendment to the Policy

We may update this Policy at our discretion. We will notify you of material changes via email or the Platform. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically.
